Kenneth Ziem, 61, Longtime Wilton Resident

WILTON, Conn. -- Lifelong Wilton resident Kenneth E. Ziem died on Thursday, Jan. 8. He was 61. 

Ziem was born on Jan. 29, 1953, in Jacksonville, Fla. He was a high fidelity enthusiast and enjoyed many genres of music, especially jazz. Self-employed as a painter and paperhanger, he was a graduate of the United States School of Professional Paperhanging in Rutland, Vt. 

He is survived by his parents Walter and Marion Ziem; siblings David and Dale Ziem of Bethel, Holly (Ziem) and Ken Secskas of Stratford, and Thomas Ziem of Danbury.

Calling hours will be at the Bouton Funeral Home on West Church Street in Georgetown on Saturday, Jan. 17, from 10 a.m. to noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut.
