Joseph D. Ciliberti, 82, Of Wilton, Retired Stationary Engineer For SUNY

WILTON, Conn. - Joseph D. Ciliberti, a resident of Wilton and former resident of Rye, N.Y., died July 22. He was 82.

Ciliberti was born June 14, 1931, in Port Chester, to Joseph and Marietta Caviola Ciliberti. He was raised and educated in Port Chester, graduating from Port Chester High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a retired stationary engineer for SUNY-Purchase.

Ciliberti is survived by his wife, Elena Luchetta Ciliberti of Wilton; sons, Joseph Ciliberti (Susan) of New Fairfield and Ronald Ciliberti (Mishelle) of Somers, N.Y.; daughter, Mary Ellen Miscioscia (John) of Wilton; sisters, Gloria Russo of Greenwich and Antoinette Sabatini of Bethesda, Md.; and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Craft Memorial Home Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, at Holy Rosary Church, Don Bosco Place, Port Chester. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Rye Brook.
