WILTON, Conn. — Longtime Wilton High School football coach Tom Fujitani, who was also a star quarterback at Greenwich High and the University of Bridgeport, died Saturday while on a fishing trip at Candlewood Lake, according to GameTimeCT. He was 73.
Fujitani, who was a retired physical education teacher, led Wilton to two state championships and six FCIAC division titles, GameTimeCT said.
After retiring, Fujitani also worked on the football staff at Bethel High, the story said.
