WILTON, Conn. – Bruno "Rick" Giordano of Wilton, a former Norwalk resident, died Dec. 24 surrounded by family. He was 57.

He was born May 8, 1955, in Stamford. He attended Stamford High School, where he wrestled and played center for the football team. During high school, he attained the Boy Scouts highest rank, Eagle Scout, when he completed the bog walkway at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center.

He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in a deactivation unit in Korea. A graduate of Fordham University, Giordano went on to establish Your Insurance Agency Inc., and served as the company president until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Cecilia; two children, Christin Giordano, of Orlando, and Joshua Giordano, of Wilton; his mother, Carmella Guglielmo Giordano, of Orlando; his father, Bruno "Egilio" Giordano, of Atlantic City; two sisters, Vera (Wolf) Guibbory, of Guilford, Conn., and Esther Giordano, of Stamford; two brothers, Vincent (Susan) Giordano, of Princeton, N.J., and Angelo (Karen) Giordano, of Weston; a sister-in-law, Minda Lampitelli, of Honolulu; three nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Westport with military honors at the close of the service. Burial will be private. Lesko and Polke Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
