WILTON, Conn. The Wilton Go Green Festival may not take place this year.
Conservation Commission Chair Kirsten Bergor said the festival could be put on hold for this year due to a lack of manpower to put it together.
Its not that they dont have the money, Bergor said. It takes a lot of work to get the festival up and running, Bergor said, suggesting that those who had managed the festival in the past were burnt out.
There is around $12,000 in the treasury of the Wilton Go Green Committee for the festival, said Patrice Gillespie, a member of the Conservation Commission.
One idea is that the festival take place every two years and that smaller events be held for Earth Day.
