Wilton's Brennan Asks Residents To Conserve Water

WILTON, Conn. – Wilton First Selectman Bill Brennan is asking residents to monitor their water usage as drier, hotter weather is expected to come to Fairfield County this week.

While the town is not facing any drought conditions, Brennan asked residents at Monday’s Board of Selectmen meeting to voluntarily conserve water, including for watering lawns.

“We’re forecasting another week or so of very, very dry conditions and not much rain in the forecast,” he said, though he did cite that Sunday evening’s thunderstorms gave some much needed rain to the area.
