Wilton Police Investigate Underage Beer Party

WILTON, Conn. – Beer cans and about 20 children in a home while parents were away have prompted an investigation by Wilton police officers.

After a complaint of a loud party, police responded at about 10:50 p.m. Saturday to a Wild Duck Road residence. Police said they found about 20 children, each about 16 years old, inside the home. Beer cans were visible in the house. Police said no parents were home at the time.

It started out as a small gathering, but more people showed up than had originally been invited, police said. The child’s parents were notified. No arrests have been made, police said.

In other police news:
