The discussion will take place on Thursday, May 12, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Members of the community came together in late April for a panel discussion and resource fair on the opioid epidemic that has been sweeping across the state  and the country. Attendees learned how people become addicted to opioids and heroin and when and how to get help for themselves or a loved one.

In this follow-up presentation, local legislators will explain initiatives that were discussed in Hartford and new laws that passed in the current legislative session.

The event is co-sponsored by Wilton Youth Council’s Parent Connection and the Wilton Library.

Advance registration is recommended by clicking here or by calling 203-762-6334.
