WILTON, Conn. The Wilton Family Y continues its focus on health living when it hosts its 2012 Community Health Fair on Wednesday, April 25.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., doctors, nurses, nutritionists and massage therapists will be available in the Y lobby for consultations.
The Y is all about prevention of chronic diseases by staying active and aware of good health habits, said Y Health and Wellness Director Mary Ann Genuario. Everyone in the community is encouraged to stop in for a visit with the many professionals who will be with us at the Health Fair.
Participants include Michael DiIorio, MD, of Wilton Physical Therapy, reiki master Pamela Lester, nutritionist Loryn Galardi, massage therapist Jenn Lui, Dr. Robert Goldring of Allied Health Professionals in Norwalk, and representatives of the Wilton Visiting Nurse Association, Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association and American Cancer Society.
A mobile mammogram unit from Stamford Hospital will be in the Y parking lot during to offer screenings by health professionals in a private doctors office setting. Insurance is accepted, and appointments can be made by calling 203-276-2602. Walk-ins are welcome.
