A Wilton contractor is facing larceny charges after taking money for a house painting job and then never completing the work, according to the Wilton Police.
According to police, Daniele Incao, 47, was paid $1,900 to paint a Wilton household in November, but after taking the money, he never returned to do the job, in addition, he had failed to file a required contract and was not registered with the state to perform home improvement work.
Incao turned himself over to Wilton police on Jan. 25, police said.
He was charged with larceny of a victim over 60, and a host of charges for failing to be registered and for not filing a contract.
Incao was released on a $25,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Feb. 5.
