Wilton 2013 Budget Talks Continue

WILTON, Conn. –  The 2013 budget conversation isn't quite finished yet as the Wilton Water Pollution Control Authority is having a public hearing on its budget.

At 5 p.m. June 20 in Town hall Room B, the authority will meet to discuss the proposed “user charge and budget” for the 2013 fiscal year.

According to a breakdown of the budget, the authority is asking for $708,282 for its expense budget with an expectation of bringing in $707,282 in revenue, including an expected increase of more than $92,000 in user charges for 2013.

The budget proposal is available for residents to read on the town's website, as well as several sewer analysis’ for locations at 40, 60 and 116 Danbury Road.

Residents are welcome to attend the public hearing to participate.
