WILTON, Conn. Wilton is full of events for parents this weekend. Here is whats happening March 9-11:
Friday
- 4 p.m.: The first of four sessions on planting the garden at the Wilton Library. Its open to all ages.
- 6 p.m.: The Wilton Library is hosting a reception for the 75th anniversary of the Wilton Playshop. The reception is open to all members of the public.
- 8 p.m.: Trackside Teen Center is hosting a Neon White Out dance for all the High School students. Tickets are limited so book online or at the door.
Saturday
- 11 a.m.: The all-day annual Winter Carnival is at Wiltons Miller-Driscoll Elementary School.
- 2 p.m.: For the Second International Womens Day Tea, Dr. Maisah Sobaihi, counselor at the Saudi Arabian Mission to the United Nations, will be speaking on Saudi women Beyond the Veil.
- 3 p.m.: Children are invited to come to the Wilton Library to talk about animals in fiction in the first of a monthly series of discussions.
- 7:30 p.m.: Dive into a look at synchronized swimming in the United States in Wilton Librarys New Perspective Film series.
Sunday
- 1:30 p.m.: Want to learn how to Photoshop? The Wilton Library is hosting a workshop for anyone who wants to learn more.
- 4 p.m.: The Concertante performance at the Wilton Congregational Church closes the Candlelight season with sextets of Brahms, Elgar, and Schoenberg.
