"So You Want To Be President" at Wilton Library: 11:30 a.m. Children of all ages are invited to watch this short film of the book So You Want to Be President by Judith St. George, illustrated by David Small. The lives of 42 presidents are celebrated with humor and flair in this witty political commentary for children. It is the winner of the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Childrens Video. Wilton Parks and Recreation Fourth of July Celebration: All day. The celebration begins with a 5K race at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Democrats vs. Republicans softball game at 2:30 p.m. Bands will begin playing at 5 p.m. Fireworks will be set off at about 9:30 p.m. Tickets start at $35. Chance Browne in the Wilton Library Summer Music & More Concert Series: 5 to 5:30 p.m. Chance Browne and his band return to open the 12th year of the outdoor concerts, providing their usual style of funk/blues tunes. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Wilton Librarys 68th Annual Summer Show Exhibition Reception: 6 to 7:30 p.m. Reception to celebrate more than 50 Wilton artists displaying diverse styles, media and subjects in this two-month-long Annual Summer Show. The exhibit runs through Aug. 30. A portion of the proceeds benefit the library. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
Summer Theater of New Canaan presents "My Fair Lady:" General admission seats start at $20 for open lawn seating and picnics. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays through July 7. Waveny Park, New Canaan.
