WILTON, Conn. Its spring break and people have fled the town of Wilton for vacation; with everyone gone, not much is happening in town. But, for those who stayed home, here is whats happening in Wilton April 16-19:
Monday
- Wilton Library 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.: A full day of crafts is being offered for children of all ages. No registration is needed, and the spring-themed crafts may be taken home.
- Wilton Town Hall 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.: The Board of Selectmen will hold its regular meeting in Town Halls Room B. Members will discuss the 2013 budget, and public comment will be heard.
Tuesday
- Wilton Library 11 a.m. to noon: Reading a particularly good book? Share it at the monthly Book Buzz meeting.
- Wilton Town Hall 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.: The Board of Finance is holding its regular meeting in Town Halls Room B. On the agenda is discussion of the mill rate, with time for public comment.
Wednesday
- Wilton Library 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Takeshita Demons by Cristy Burne is the book of the month for the Mythology Club. Each month, children in grades three through five read a book on a mythological theme and discuss it.
Thursday
Wilton Library 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Two movies will be shown at the Wilton Library as a part of the librarys Vacation Week Movies. The Muppets, rated PG, will start at 10:30 a.m. The second film, Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked, rated PG, will start at 2 p.m.
