Wallkill Police Search For Man Who Stole Salvation Army Bucket

WALLKILL, N.Y. – Wallkill officials are searching for a man who reportedly stole the Salvation Army donation bucket in front of ShopRite on Saturday.

Police Officer John Zonneveld responded to a larceny call at the grocery store on Lloyds Lane just after 6 p.m. The Salvation Army volunteer told Zonneveld he watched a male remove the bucket and flee toward route 211, Wallkill Police said. 

The suspect is described as a male white, approximately 6’ tall, heavy set, wearing a gray hood and mask.
