The (Art) Show Must Go On at Wilton Library

WILTON, Conn. – Neither snow, nor wind nor downed power lines will stop the Wilton Library from going ahead with the opening of its new art exhibit Friday, Nov. 4.

“Black & White and Read All Over” will include 40 pieces from 21 artists. Hosted by the non-profit organization The Women's Caucus for Art-Connecticut, the show will run from Friday, Nov. 4, to Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Exhibiting artists are Lynne Arovas (Greenwich), G. R. Boggs (Brookfield), Anne Brecher-Bogart (Danbury), Julia Coash (New Haven), Anne Doris-Eisner (Bethany), Debbie Gilbert (Stratford), Elizabeth Helling (Bridgeport), Jane Lubin (Westport), Pat Martin (Bethany), Toby Michaels (Westport), Carla Payson (Branford), Sheila Pite (Orange), Pnina Greenwald Ramot (Fairfield), Tina Rohrer (Pound Ridge, N.Y.), Gay Schempp (Winsted), Phyllis Sinrich (Stamford), Victoria Sivigny (Meriden), Terry Spring (New Canaan), Shaw Stuart (Cos Cob), Jean Swanson (Bethany) and Karen Vogel (Darien).

Much of the art will be available for purchase, and a portion of the profits go to the library.
