WILTON, Conn. Connecticuts president pro tempore of the state Senate, Sen. Donald E. Williams Jr., D-Brooklyn, will be joining the Wilton Democratic Town Committee at its annual spring breakfast.
Williams will be the featured speaker at the breakfast on May 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Trackside Teen Center. His topic will be The Democratic View from Hartford. Williams is in his 10th term as state senator for the 29th District.
We are very much looking forward to hearing what Senator Williams will tell us about the current session just ended and what to expect as we go forward, said John Kalamarides, chairman of the Wilton Democrats.
During the breakfast, the Democrats will be announcing a candidate for the 26th Senate District to run against incumbent Sen. Toni Boucher, R-Wilton, Kalamarides also said in a statement.
