Power Restored to 99% of Wilton

WILTON, Conn. – According to the Wilton Emergency Operations Center, 99 percent of the town's customers have had power restored as of Sunday afternoon.

Connecticut Light & Power is aware of all the remaining 113 outages in town and will be fixing them all Sunday with 12 crews that have been assigned to the town, a statement said.

Department of Public Works will continue to remove all debris from the roads, although “due to a significant volume of downed trees, branches, brush and other debris, the cleanup process on every Wilton road is expected to take four to six weeks.”

School buses will run Monday — the routes have been checked for debris.

If you have not had your power restored, call CL&P to determine the status at 1-800-286-2000.
