Commuters were thrown a major curve ball Wednesday after a power outage on the New Haven Line severely disrupted service between Stamford and Grand Central Terminal. It may take weeks for power to be fully restored, and Gov. Dannel Malloy urged Metro-North to refund commuters for the disruption of service.
A total of 11 Wilton High School students have been named semifinalists in the 2014 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Wilton Police Officer Diane MacLean recently scaled down the side of a 16-story building to raise funds for Special Olympics Connecticut.
