There will be weeknight lane closures on the Merritt Parkway in Fairfield County for several days as contractors continue overnight bridge maintenance activity in Trumbull.
The Connecticut State Department of Transportation announced that beginning on Monday, March 18, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., there will be various lane closures, which are expected to last through Friday, March 22.
There will be closures in both directions on the Merritt Parkway between exit 52 (Route 8 and Route 108) and exit 50 (Route 127). Additionally, there will be closures on Route 8 between exit 9 (Route 15) and exit 11 (Huntington Road) in Trumbull.
During the construction work, there will be flaggers and signage posted in the area to assist with the flow of traffic.
