Christopher Kocak, of Milford, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 9, by Milford Police after being contacted by the Iberia, Louisiana Sheriff’s Office in regards to a fraud that occurred on Nov. 11, 2019, said Milford Police.
An investigation was conducted and detectives found that Kocak attempted to deposit a fraudulent check in the amount of $22,460.00 into his People’s Bank account.
Kocak was charged with criminal attempt larceny and released on a promise to appear ticket.
He is scheduled to appear in court on March 3.
