A woman visiting Connecticut is feeling lucky after cashing in a winning CT Lottery ticket worth $50,000 this week.

On Wednesday, Sept. 15, Ariana Llanos Rojas, a Lake Worth, Florida resident, cashed in a winning "Super Cashword 22" ticket that was sold at the A&J Mini Mart on East Main Street in Stamford.

The following day, a second $50,000 CT Lottery ticket was cashed in as a Stamford resident saw the balls bounce his way in POWERBALL.

On Thursday, Sept. 16, Stamford resident Antonio Rivera also cashed in a winning $50,000 ticket that was sold at the Wash Works laundromat on East Main Street in Stamford.

According to CT Lottery, “when a winning scratch ticket is validated through a Lottery Retailer's terminal, the remaining number of unclaimed prizes for that prize level is automatically updated reflecting one less prize. Until the individual or group presents their winning ticket for claim at CT Lottery Headquarters, the identity of a winner is unknown.”

Rojas wasn't the only one to cash in a winning ticket this week worth more than $10,000.
