Engine Fire Stops Danbury-Bound Train In Wilton

WILTON, Conn. -- A Metro-North train traveling north from Grand Central Terminal on the Danbury Line was halted due to an engine fire in Wilton on Monday, Sept. 29, according to newstimes.com.

Approximately 150 passengers were removed from the train. Only a few remained to board the replacement train when it arrived within an hour of the incident, newstimes.com reported. 

There were no injuries reported with the fire, newstimes.com said.
