WILTON, Conn. A three-car accident on Danbury Road Friday afternoon sent one person to the hospital, the Wilton Police Department reported.
Edwin Marroquin, 25, of Stamford was charged with driving without a license and failing to give the right of way after his car hit the front of Barbara Anchims car when he was exiting Wilton Deli onto Danbury Road.
Anchim, 59, of Bridgeport, reported that her airbag deployed and filled her car with smoke. She was brought to Norwalk Hospital.
Gerard Spenard, 53, of Wilton told police that he was stopped in the northbound lane of Danbury Road looking to turn into the Wilton Deli when Marroquin was turning out. The report says he honked his horn to alert the drivers of the impending accident.
Both Anchim's and Marroquins cars were taken to Wilton Auto Body. Both declined medical attention.

Police are investigating the death of a 74-year-old Wilton man found in his home. The medical examiner is still determining cause of death.
Ronald Kohn, 60, of Bridgeport was held on a $3,000 bond on charges of driving with a suspended license and without insurance. Wilton police stopped Kohn on Route 33. Police said he had also failed to respond to an infraction ticket. He was due in court on May 29.
Michael Knox, 25, of Norwalk was charged with driving under the influence, failing to drive in the right lane, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and using a cellphone while driving. Police issued a field sobriety test and determined his blood alcohol content was at .104. The legal limit is .08. Police said Knox was texting and had a pipe with marijuana residue. He is due in court on June 7 and was released with a promise to appear.
Kent Brooks, 56, of Redding, was charged with driving under the influence after police stopped him for allegedly driving erratically on Route 7. He was also charged with failing to drive in the correct lane, possession of marijuana and driving without insurance. He was released on a promise to appear and is due in court on June 7.
A mailbox was damaged at a home on High Ridge Road. According to police, this is not the first time the mailbox has been targeted.
