? There was sad news Wednesday after Wilton school officials announced the death of longtime Cider Mill School principal Virginia "Ginny" Rico. She was 69. Rico spent most of her 35-year career as an educator at Cider Mill, where she became principal in 2002. A funeral mass was held Saturday.
? The owner of Toozy Patza Pizza & Jazzeria in Wilton turned himself in on a warrant charging him in connection with with illegal pumping of sewage from his restaurant into a nearby storm drain.
? Wilton's Pinocchio Pizza on Tuesday held "A Slice for the Cure," an all-day benefit for the American Cancer Society. The restaurant, owned by six-time World Pizza Champion Bruno DiFabio, is donating all of the day's sales to the nonprofit.
