WILTON, Conn. - Memorial Day is a day for remembrance and celebration, but Wilton residents should remember that many of their regularly visited buildings won't be open.
Schools will be closed in honor of Memorial Day as will local government offices and the Wilton Library. Many local businesses will also be closed.
The library will reopen for regular hours Tuesday, May 29, at 10 a.m. Town Hall offices will also open for regular hours Tuesday.
The Wilton Family Y will be open Monday, although with irregular hours. The pond, beach and 50-meter pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fitness center will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. But all group exersise classes and babysitting services will be canceled.
