WILTON, Conn. – Woodcock Nature Center in Wilton will be hosting a Native American writing program for children on Saturday.
The workshop is geared for children in the first grade and up.
Participants will create their own stories using Native American symbols, learn how to play Native American games, hike through a beech grove, and also meet at least one animal, according to a press release.
The writing program will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Parents may stay on site or drop off their participating children.
The cost is $10 per child for members and $15 per child for non-members.
Preregistration is required; the deadline is noon Friday.
Woodcock Nature Center is at 56 Deer Run Road in Wilton.
