“As we gather to celebrate the joy of the season, we are delighted and proud to recognize nine LaurelRock employees for their dedication to our Core Principles. This has been another excellent year for The LaurelRock Company and we recognize that the devotion and diligence of our team drives our success. Because of their efforts, we will be celebrating our 40th year in business in 2015,” said Burt DeMarche, president, of The LaurelRock Company.

The following employees were publicly recognized during LaurelRock’s annual holiday party held on Friday, Dec. 5 at Sal e Pepe Contemporary Italian Bistro in Newtown:

Jose Alex Cartagena, fine gardening crew leader of Watertown and Kim Kawachi, Contract Administrator of Pound Ridge for Embracing Teamwork through collaboration, motivation and empowerment.

Alfredo Pagan, weekly maintenance crew leader of Danbury for Thinking Creatively by generating solutions, energizing clients and being distinctive.

Terri Smith, office and client relations manager of Fairfield, for Honoring The Client through her relationships, words and actions.

Peter Kehoe, garden and property manager/landscape management production manager of Sandy Hook, for Investing in the Community by getting involved, giving back and making a difference.

Jonathan Tan, associate designer of Danbury, for Continuously Improving by developing internal processes, systems and services.

Wilton Franco, field supervisor landscape management of Danbury, for Acting with Integrity by exemplifying professionalism, trust and reliability.

Jovanny Hidalgo, weekly maintenance crew leader of Danbury, and Allan Broadbent, lead landscape architect and project manager of Norwalk, for Listening, Learning and Leading their peers, clients and communities.
