WILTON, Conn. -- If you want to make friends, make memories and make a difference, then the Wilton YMCA's Camp Gordyland is for you.
And if you want to attend next summer, registration begins Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Camp Gordyland is an all-inclusive, state-licensed program that offers your child one of the most exciting summer day camp experiences available in the region, according to the Wilton YMCA.
Led by a team of certified camp directors and group leaders, campers will experience a day of both traditional and nontraditional activities.The program emphasizes safety, sportsmanship, skill development and fun, based on the YMCA's five character values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and unity.
Depending on their age and camp chosen, campers will enjoy the YMCA's 50-meter outdoor pool, 25-yard indoor pool, pond, beach, mini-golf course, splash pool, ropes course and climbing wall. More traditional activities include arts and crafts, canoeing, archery, music, fishing and instructional swim.
There also are before- and after-camp extended hours available.

- Busy Bees: Ages 3 and 4
- Camp To-Come-To: Ages 4 and 5
- Camp Free-To-Be: Grades 1-6
- Teen Camp: Grades 7 and 8
- Counselor-In-Training: Grades 9 and 10
- Lego Camp: Grades K-5
- Creative Arts Camp: Grades K-4
- Mad Science: Grades 1-4
- Ropes Course Camp: Grades 4-6
- Wahoo Summer Swim Team: Grades 2-6
