Wilton YMCA Hosts Career Workshop Series For Moms

WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Family YMCA will host a series of workshops for mothers looking to re-enter the workforce starting on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The workshop, titled "Close the Gap: Strategic Résumé Development, Career Clarification and Confidence Building” will meet over six sessions.

Mothers will examine their skills, accomplishment and interests and combine them with volunteer experiences and accomplishments that have occurred during their time as parents to create an optimized resume. 

Sessions will meet on Oct. 29, Nov., 5, Nov. 12, Nov. 19, Dec. 3 and Dec. 10.

The fee for the 6 sessions is $300 for Y members and $350 for non-members. Optional career assessments are available for an additional fee of $100. Click here to register.
