WILTON, Conn. Eleven days after the unusual pre-Halloween snowstorm, Wilton is still working to clean up its streets.
The Department of Public Works announced its cleanup operations working to clear debris from 308 roads in town. Town crews will remove any storm debris put to the side of roads.
"Normal working schedules will focus on side roads during rush-hour traffic periods from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. After rush hour and school bus activity has diminished, crews will work to clean up main roads throughout Wilton," the announcement said.
On Wednesday, Nov. 9, department employees will be focusing their efforts on the Silver Springs, Kellogg Road, Deer Run, Antler and Whipstick areas, as well as the Newtown Turnpike, East and West Meadow and Rivergate Road areas.
Updates will be provided on the town's website.
