Tara Thompson, president of the club, is host of the light brunch with mimosas from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 25 in her home. Babysitting will be available for younger children, for a small fee.

Members are welcome, and those who are not members may sign up at the site as well. The club is open not only to new residents of the area, but also to anyone else who likes to meet people and have fun.
The Wilton Newcomers Club is a nonprofit, and has provided social opportunities for residents of Wilton since its inception in 1965. With activities planned throughout the year, members can build their social networks and attend a number of events.
