Clark died Wednesday after a massive heart attack at the age of 82, ABC-TV reported.
The host of "American Bandstand" and ABC's "New Years Rockin' Eve," Clark was a well-loved American icon. He was also known for hosting the "Pyramid" game shows and dozens of radio shows since his career began in 1945.
