WILTON, Conn. To ring in the New Year and show off its facilities and programs, the Wilton Family Y is hosting an open house. On Monday, Jan. 2, from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., the Y will be open to everyone members and nonmembers.
All classes and facilities will be available at no cost, and the Y has planned activities for children. From noon to 2 p.m., children's activities will include face-painting, carnival games and Dr. Seuss photos.
One reason for the open house is to attract new members. Two-week trial memberships are being offered, and those who join will have the joining fee waived. New individual adult members will receive a $50 gift card, families a $100 card, to use toward Y classes and programing.
We invite everyone in the community to visit the Y during our Open House to take advantage of this opportunity to experience all the programs and services our Y has to offer at no charge, Y membership director Michelle Wishna said in a news release.
