WILTON, Conn. It seems like summer has arrived early in Wilton, with some of the warmest weather the town has ever seen during this time of year.
Leaves havent grown back on the trees, but flowers were blooming and people were outside in T-shirts and shorts on Monday. And spring doesn't officially begin until Tuesday.
The Weather Channel is forecasting a week of high temperatures above 65 degrees through Friday, with three of the five days near or above 70 degrees. Every day is predicted to hit and go above record high temperatures.
According to Wunderground.com the last time Wilton saw record temperature this week was March 20, 1976, with a high of 72 degrees. The other record highs for March 19 through 24 are all in the mid to high 60s.
