WILTON, CONN. -- The Wilton Lady Warriors took on a gritty, well-coached St. Mary’s basketball team Saturday.
It was a defensive struggle through most of the first half with The Lady Warriors clinging to a slim 17 -13 lead at halftime. The back and forth continued throughout the second half as well, but ultimately the Lady Warriors prevailed in a hard-fought contest against a quality opponent. The final score was: Wilton 31, St. Mary’s 26.
