WILTON, Conn. Once again, the Holiday Stroll will take place in Wilton Center this year.
At 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, the Wilton Chamber of Commerce will begin the Annual Holiday Stroll and Childrens Visit with Santa. A performance by the Wilton High School Band will announce the arrival of Santa Claus to the gazebo on the town green.
First Selectman Bill Brennan will light the tree in Wilton Center. Lights will also be wrapped around lampposts in the village. Participating business will be open for shopping and refreshments.
This is one of the special holiday events the Chamber presents for the enjoyment of the community," said chamber board President Ralph Slater. "It is a very popular family activity, where the little ones have an opportunity to tell Santa their wishes for presents, and parents can do some early shopping right here in Wilton Center.
