WILTON, CONN. — Over 100 people gathered for the annual Wilton Community Menorah lighting on Sunday, Dec. 5, the First Night of Hanukkah.

Live music was played while traditional dreidels and chocolate gelt coins were distributed. The menorah lighting has become an annual tradition in Wilton.

Town officials were on hand to help light the menorah, including First Selectman Lynne Vanderslice, Selectman Dave Clune and state Rep. Gail Lavielle, as well members of State Police Troop G.

The lighting was sponsored by the Schneerson Center for Jewish Life and was led by Rabbi Levi Stone.
