WILTON, Conn. Looking for something for the kids to do on spring break? The Wilton Family Y is holding weeklong events for members and nonmembers alike.
From April 16 to 20, the Ys Kidz Zone will run a full-day program for children in kindergarten through fifth grade and half-days for 3½ to 11 year olds.
The full day will last from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Half-days rum from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. The cost for a full day is $80 for members, $120 for nonmembers. For the half-day program, the fee is $50 for members, $70 for nonmembers. A discount will be available for enrollment of more than three days.

An American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course will also be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 16 to April 20. Participants must be at least 15 and able to swim 500 continuous yards freestyle without difficulty.
Instruction includes in-water and classroom time, and participants must attend all classes. Lifeguarding, CPR, AED and first aid certifications will be given upon successful completion of the course.

Also, a Sports Conditioning Camp will be offered from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. on April 16 to April 20 to prepare for any spring sport. The curriculum is geared for both experienced and beginner student athletes to get in better shape.
Each participant receives an individualized workout based on his or her sport. The cost is $155, and registration can be done on the Y website.
