One of the shelter’s newest additions is Sky, a 1-and-a-half-year-old female with an all white coat. Sky came to Animals In Distress after her family developed an allergy, shelter organizers said.
Sky is described as a sweet and playful girl who enjoys curling up and snuggling with people.
“Please don't pass this little gem by,” shelter organizers said. “We would like her to not have to spend her youthful years in the shelter. She has so much love and joy to bring to any family.”
Sky is spayed, house trained and up-to-date on routine shots.
Anyone interested in adopting Sky can meet her this Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Animals in Distress headquarters, 238 Danbury Road, or by making an appointment via email at kittiesforkeeps@gmail.com or by calling 203-762-2006.
The adoption fee is $100 and applications are required. Adoption applications and more information are available on the Animals in Distress website.
