WILTON, Conn. Kathleen I. Killion, formerly of Wilton, died June 3 at Norwalk Hospital. She was 82.
She was the wife of Thomas P. Killion and was a resident of Wilton for 40 years prior to moving to Fairfield five years ago.
Killion was born April 2, 1930, in Ballintubber, County Limerick, Ireland, to Richard and Mary MacKessy. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years; a son, Christopher (Sherry) Killion, of Matthews, N.C.; three daughters, Kathy Killion, of Arlington, Va., Mary Ellen (Ralph) Stolecki, of Reading, Mass., and Sheila (Michael) Carey, of Fairfield; two brothers Richard MacKessy, of Ireland, and Sean (Sheila) MacKessy, of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.; a sister, Sheila Frawley, of Ireland; and ten grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Spear-Miller Funeral Home in Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fairfield. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery.
