Jean Ceraso, 84, Catholic School Teacher of Wilton

WILTON, Conn. – Jean T. Ceraso, 84, of Wilton, died April 20 at Wilton Meadows. 

Born June 6, 1928 in New York City, she was the daughter of Louis and Marie Borghi. Ceraso graduated from Queens College with a degree in economics. Upon graduation, Ceraso worked in advertising.  

She married her husband, Frank, in 1950. After her career in advertising, Ceraso earned a teaching certificate and taught for many years in the Catholic school systems in both New York and Illinois. She traveled extensively with her family, visiting 62 countries and all 50 states. 

The family wishes to thank Norwalk Hospital for its help and care during her recent heart attack. 

Ceraso is survived by two daughters, Cynthia (Michael) Marcus and Lorna (Peter) Huber; and four grandchildren.  

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. \Monday at Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wilton.
