WILTON, Conn. Halloween isnt quite over in Wilton yet.
Townwide Halloween festivities were postponed after last weekend's storm knocked out power and littered roads with branches and trees.
We had a great weekend planned last weekend, and were so excited to be able to do them this weekend, said Janeen Leppart, interim executive director of the Wilton Chamber of Commerce.
The Pumpkin Parade and Trick-or-Treating takes place Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Gazebo on the town green.
Leppart said that the chamber wants children who didnt make it to the shortened trick-or-treating last Saturday to enjoy their Halloween albeit delayed. Everybody is really excited for the kids to come around in their costumes," Leppart said.
The Halloween Hustle 5k will be run on Sunday. Registration opens at 9 a.m. and the race begins at 10 a.m. at the town center. Leppart said she expects 200 runners.
