Dance Your Way to Fitness in Classes at Wilton Y

WILTON, Conn. – Bored and unmotivated with the old way of working out? The Wilton Family Y has some new classes it hopes will help.

Learn the Moves meets every Saturday at 11:15 a.m. for five weeks. A certified instructor will introduce participants to a different popular workout each week, including yoga, spinning, Zumba, body pump and strength training.

“These intro classes let you find out which type of class you like the best before committing to a regular schedule and a great way to meet new friends and have fun,” Y Health & Wellness Director Mary Ann Genuario said.

The schedule for the five sessions of Learn the Moves is: Intro to Yoga on March 31, Cardio Strength Circuit on April 7, Intro to Spin on April 14, Intro to Zumba and Intro to Les Mills Body Attack & Body Pump on April 28. 

All classes meet in the Y’s Studio I. Learn the Moves is free to Y members, $5 per class for nonmembers.
