The free cards are sponsored by New York Life and will be available from 9 a.m. to noon in Wilton Family YMCA's lobby. No appointments are necessary.
The card children under the age of 18 is a wallet-sized, plastic card with a picture of the child, a unique Amber ID number and minimal, yet essential information needed to identify the child. The information is stored in a secure database, and the card can be presented to law enforcement in the event a child is abducted to assist police in finding the missing child.
