WILTON, Conn. -- A select group of composers, musicians and vocalists will all be on-hand at a Wilton Library concert Sunday.

“A Concert of Music” is set for 4 p.m., Sunday, at Wilton Library and features composers, musicians and vocalists who have lived, worked or been schooled in Connecticut, according to a press release from the library. Connecticut Composers Inc. will be represented at the concert by Stan Kaplan, Elizabeth R. Austin, Elizabeth Lauer, Frank Vasi, Eugenie Rocherolle and Ryan Jesperson, according to the release.

CCI is a nonprofit organization of composers living in or having ties to Connecticut that has since grown to almost 50 members from all regions of the state, according to the release.

"Sunday’s concert will feature compositions from the above mentioned composers, performed by such diverse ensembles as saxophone and piano, saxophone quartet, solo clarinet, and solo voice and piano," according to the release.

“We are so pleased to have this very artistic and diverse group perform at Wilton Library," said Karen Danvers, program manager for Wilton Library, in the release. "We want to thank Allen Brings, vice president of CCI, for putting all this wonderful talent together for us for this concert.”

The Connecticut’s Own concerts are free of charge but registration is recommended and pre-registrants are asked to arrive by 3:50 p.m., Sunday, to be guaranteed seating. The Wilton Library is at 137 Old Ridgefield Road in Wilton Center.
