WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Library will host a lecture on preventing sports injuries from Dr. Amy M. O’Donnell on Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
O'Donnell is a board-certified chiropractic physician and provides physical therapy services with a focus on sports injuries.
Her lecture will focus on different types of sports injuries and their associated causes, leading into means of treatment and the prevention of chronic issues that may hinder an athlete’s future success. Sports injuries are at an all time high, and the athletes getting injured are younger than ever, O’Donnell said.
The lecture will take place in the Rimer Room of the library.
