WILTON, Conn. -- Jazz pianist Fred Hersh is set to sit down and play Sunday at the Wilton Library.
A concert featuring Hersh is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday at the Wilton Library's Brubeck Room. The session is part of the Wilton Library's Hot & Cool: Jazz at the Brubeck Room concert.
"Juggling all his skills as a musician, composer, bandleader, and in-demand collaborator, Hersch is making time to visit an appreciative Wilton Library audience for a Hot & Cool concert," , according to a press release. "Vanity Fair noted that Hersch is 'the most arrestingly innovative pianist in jazz over the last decade or so.'"
The Hot & Cool: Jazz at the Brubeck Room concerts are funded by the William and Karen Tell Foundation with special thanks to Ed and Catherine Romer and Chris and Tish Brubeck.
There is a suggested donation of $10 per person and registration is highly recommended. To register for the event, visit the Wilton Library website or call 203-762-3950, ext. 213.
