What's Happening In Wilton This Weekend

WILTON, Conn. – A classic musical, a pair of teen concerts and an outdoor theater production are some of the events planned for this weekend in and around Wilton. 


Morningside Lane at Trackside Teen Center of Wilton: 7 p.m. The band will take the stage as part of Trackside at Band Night. 7 p.m. They will be joined by Brett Steinberg and Broadcast Hearts. Tickets are $5. Trackside Teen Center, 15 Station Road.

Wilton Summer Stage presents “Guys and Dolls”: 7:30 p.m. Students from Wilton schools in grades 7-10 will take the stage to perform this classic Broadway musical. Tickets are $10. Wilton High School Clune Center, 395 Danbury Road.


Maniac at the Trackside Teen Center: 7 p.m. The band will perform along with Oath of Insanity. Tickets are $5. Trackside Teen Center, 15 Station Road.

Silvermine Arts Center’s Student Exhibition: Noon to 5 p.m. One of the most popular shows of the year, the Silvermine Arts Center’s Student Exhibition showcases the artistic achievements of the Silvermine School of Art students of all ages, from youths to adults. This event provides students the opportunity to share their accomplishments with one another and offers the public a view of the art and creative energy that is generated by the students. Awards given for this exhibition includes the adult category, as well as youth categories for students ages 5-10 and 11-17. The gallery is open from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, 1-5 p.m. Sundays and by appointment Mondays and Tuesdays. Silvermine Arts Center, New Canaan.


Summer Theater of New Canaan's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat:" 3 p.m. General admission seats start at $20 for open lawn seating and picnics. Performances will be at 3 p.m. Sundays and 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through Aug. 5. Waveny Park, New Canaan.
