WILTON, Conn. A reception for artists, books and babies and a photography hike are some of the events planned for this weekend in and around Wilton.
Summer Show Reception at Wilton Library: 7:30 p.m. More than 50 Wilton artists displaying diverse styles, media and subjects will be celebrated in this two-month-long Annual Summer Show. The exhibit runs through Aug. 30. A portion of the proceeds benefits the library. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
Summer Theatre of New Canaan Presents My Fair Lady: 8 p.m. General admission seats start at $20 for open lawn seating and picnics. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday through July 7. Waveny Park, New Canaan.
First Saturday Books for Babies: 9:30 a.m. Bring your wonderful baby to this infant-friendly program at the Wilton Library. Kids can sing and play and enjoy gentle stories geared for babies under 12 months old on the first Saturday of each month before the library opens. This is an excellent forum to meet other new parents in the area. Registration is suggested. Wilton Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.
Nature Photography Hike at Audubon Greenwich: 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Get outdoors with others, share photography tips and witness the wilderness hiding just outside our backdoor. Hikes will be led by professional photographer Dan Burns and are co-sponsored by the Photography Club of Lower Fair?eld County. Sites will include the main sanctuary and others in the region. Camera or not, all are welcome to hike. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. RSVP for trip locations and rain updates.
